That means that Google and the other search engines have been indexing it for longer period of time and if they optimize those sites even more with current SEO strategies, then it is bound to help them to get even more visitors and ultimately more sales.

SEO tactics can of course work for any sort of business large or small, but it is in how these places use SEO that will make the difference. If a smaller company does a better job, even if the larger ones have more money to spend, the smaller one could beat it out in the search engine rankings. Money isn’t everything and skill plays a big role in using current SEO tactics.

For instance, if a smaller company has written better articles about their topic that exactly meet the needs of their potential customer, and then their site could get ranked higher than a large company that tries to just put out bulk, but not useful and targeted articles.  Larger companies also have the potential for making things like better quality videos than a small company and videos are very hot when it comes to SEO strategies.

But they need to make sure that the script contains useful info for the customer and not just glitzy special effects as in the long run that isn’t what the customer needs or wants. They just want solutions to their problem and want to find answers on the website they go to.
